This is the perch I received within about an hour of arriving in Llano, Texas to photograph these wintering eagles. It turns out that this was about as cooperative as they were going to be this day. The rest of my eight hours were not this good, but I did have a wonderful time conversing with other birders and simply observing these majestic birds. December 2007.
