Stephen > Red Tailed Hawk caught perching in Grand Prairie, Texas.  She allowed me to get very close because she was fixated on some prey below her I believe, Feb. 2007.

Stephen > This painted bunting had just finished enjoying some nice seeds from some freshly mowed grass.  Like I have said in other descriptions of this same painted bunting, I much would have preferred a more natural environment, not one so suburban, but when I see a painted bunting, I take the shot.
